Volleyball Festival FAQ

Teams: 14HP

Dates: 6/25 Travel; Competition 6/26-29

Mandatory Travel Form: Due by Sun, Feb 23rd. Although we are allowing families to book their own flights along with making alternate accommodations please know that this is a huge team building opportunity and it’s important that families understand that the coach will set the schedule and team activities are mandatory. Families are welcome to join the activities.

Location: Phoenix Convention Center North Building, downtown Phoenix

Player Fee: Approximately $450-$500 (hotel prices not available yet).
Fee covers: extra practice days, tournament entry fee, AAU membership (player/2 coaches), Team flight to AZ ($257 per player/2 coaches), 2 coaches return flight, 2 coaches hotel- tbd, coaches food allowance. *Players may make own flight arrangements on 6/25 and deduct cost of Team flight from player fee.

Team Flight: 6/25- SW #5569 leaves MDW 12:05pm, arrives PHX 1:45pm. Cost: $257
*We travel to and from the airport to downtown Phoenix on the Light Rail, approx. 20 minute trip, $2 each way.

Coaches Return Flight: 6/29- SW #3399 leaves PHX 8:05pm, arrives MDW 1:25am

Player Party: 6/25 at the Convention Center from 6:30-8pm. DJ, games… Teams dress up according to the VF theme (TBD)
