We want to HELP!
Below is a good overview of the recruiting process.  As you begin to explore the recruiting process, here is a good sequence of steps to complete.
1) Identify Potential College
– Do you see yourself at a large, medium, or small school?
– What geographic regions are you open to?
– Does the school match your academic interests?
2) Start Contacting College Coaches
– If you are reaching out to Div. 1 or 2 schools, it’s a good idea to contact both the head coach and an assistant coach. At smaller schools, usually the head coach handles recruiting
– Stay organized in the process by creating a spreadsheet
3) Create your player profile.
4) Email your list of schools. Include a brief introduction of yourself, along with your profile. You can include any video links at this time as well or wait until it is requested.
5) Create a skills and/or highlight video.  College coaches like to see a variety of footage so include your skill set, along with uncut game footage for them to do a thorough evaluation.
6) Send your video to the coaches who have requested it.
7) Schedule visits at the schools that seem interested.
8) Maintain consistent communication with coaches. Update them on your upcoming matches and tournaments. Let them know how your team did at your recent tournament.
9) If you are looking at an NCAA school, make sure you register with the NCAA Clearinghouse.
