Welcome to our 2024-25 IPV Volleylites Youth Training
We look forward to working with your athlete and encourage you to read through the information below to prepare for the first day. We’ll also send a reminder email prior to the start of class.
-Participants should plan to arrive 15 minutes early to check-in with the coach inside the front door at Good Samaritan Health & Wellness Center.
-Participants will receive an invoice from IPV for the session with an option to pay by charge or bank transfer. Payment is due prior to the first class.
-Please complete the online Medical Release form prior to the first day of class so we have it on record.-Participants should dress comfortably in shorts (or spandex), t-shirt and gym shoes. Knee pads are optional.
-Please send a water bottle for breaks, water fountains are available for re-fills.
-We’re happy to accommodate requests to keep friends together for the training.
-We will provide all balls needed for practice so there is no need to bring your own ball.
-Coaches: Caroline O’Connor, Shannon Simpson, and staff.
-New athletes are welcome to join at anytime during the session provided space is available.
*We do not anticipate having to cancel any practices due to weather but should it come up, please check our website- www.ipvbc.com. We’ll post any weather related cancellations by 2pm the day of the practice.

-Session #1– Sept 8, 15, 22, 29; Oct 6, 20, 27 *No class on Oct 13
-Session #2– Nov 3, 10, 17, 24; Dec 1, 8, 15 *No class Dec 22, 29
-Session #3– Jan 5, 12, 19, 26; Feb 2, 9, 23 *No class on Feb 16
-Session #4– March 2, 9, 16, 23; April 6, 13, 20 *No class March 30
Locations:
1- Good Samaritan Health & Wellness (behind hospital)- 3551 Highland Ave
Downers Grove, IL 60515 Maps & Directions. *Take Highland Ave to 39th St, go East to stop sign at Wellness Way, turn left & follow road to the end.
*Good Sam asks that parents drop-off and pick-up participants by the front entrance.
*Spectators are not allowed in the facility. Please confirm this rule with anyone that will be dropping off or picking up.
2- ARC Recreation Center- 8201 Janes Ave, Woodridge, IL Maps & Directions
Times: DG location practices 4:30-6pm; Woodridge ARC facility *proposed practices 4:30-6pm.
Age Group: Grade School & Middle School
Cost: $175 per session; families will be invoiced for online payment via charge or bank transfer.
