Dunes March Madness Tournament

Players:

1 Volleyballs will be provided for warm-ups at all locations.
2. We will have an athletic trainer on site ONLY at the DEC. The athletic trainer will be at the facility from approximately 7:30am-7:00pm on Saturday.
3. Food, electronics, etc. will not be allowed at scorer’s table. A penalty will be assessed if need be.
4. There is no cap on any matches.
6. Warm-ups will be 5-4-4 for all matches when it is a team’s first match of the day. Every match after that will be 2-4-4.
7. Tiebreakers
Tiebreaker sets will be played for 3-way ties affecting placement in the gold bracket. Tiebreakers will be one set to 15 immediately following pool play, and teams must be court side. Teams not present will forfeit their position in the tiebreaker. For ties not affecting placement in gold, ties will be broken by (in order):
-Set percentage
– Point percentage
-Coin flip

Spectators:
1. Admission for the tournament is $5 adults, $2 students and Senior Citizens, 10 & under Free
2. There are NO coolers, team tables, or outside food allowed in the Dunes facility. Sandwiches and small snacks that fit in players’ bags are allowed; remember, this is a volleyball tournament not a potluck. We do have a concession stand at the DEC.
3. We do have bleachers on every court but 1 & 5 at the DEC. Chairs are also allowed.

All:
1. The parking lot in front of the DEC is not huge, but there is additional parking available across the street.
2. Doors will open at 7:00am at the DEC, and 8:00am at New Buffalo.
3. Dunes Events Center & South Central HS are on CENTRAL Standard Time. New Buffalo HS is on EASTERN Standard Time.
4. Dunes Events Center courts 1-4 are on the North side of building, 5-8 are on South side.
